It was great to see many of you at our event last Friday - Summer Symphony 2019 - Veena Maestro Rajhesh Vaidhya live in concert together with Super Singer stars Anand Aravindakshan, Lakshmi Pradeep and Malavika Rajhesh. Enclosed is an event synopsis and our thanks and gratitude to partners, patrons, well-wishers and everyone who made this happen !
Despite a busy Friday evening on the roads and a long drive for many, we are grateful for your punctuality and timely arrival. We got off to a start just after 7 pm, with a quick event introduction by Sathish Duraisamy and handing over the stage to Rajhesh Vaidhya (RV) and troupe.
What then followed was nearly 4 hours of “Summer Symphony” with audience interactions, song requests, anecdotes and experience sharing and lots of laughter. The event was truly a musical immersion along classical music and Tamil cinema playback from the 60’s to recent hits. In an entirely different format to 2018 concert, the event had 4 distinct segments which seamlessly blended Rajhesh Vaidhya’s Veena recitals and Super Singer vocals as standalone themes and then meshing them both together in 2 further enchanting segments with a variety of fusions, medleys and musical tributes.
The concert was set up in 2 parts with a short dinner break for patrons to tuck into the food delights put together by Sangeetha at the venue itself. We concluded just after 10:30 pm with a felicitation to Rajhesh Vaidhya and all the artistes, as well as a raffle prize draw from WealthMax, our event partner.
